Laura E. Gruber PLC
About FOUNDATIONS FAMILY LAW CENTER
Foundations Family Law Center was founded to help families resolve their family law matters with dignity, while still protecting our clients' rights under Michigan law. We understand the challenges that families face during these most difficult times and will help you address these issues with integrity, skill, and professionalism.

Before opening Laura E. Gruber PLC, Laura worked at a free legal clinic, supervising law students exclusively on family law cases. Laura also has experience in private practice representing clients with family law matters. She has also worked in legal services advising clients on a wide range of issues including landlord tenant, bankruptcy, public benefits, and family law issues.
Laura has been admitted to the State Bar of Michigan since 2010. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Livonia Bar Association, and the Wayne County Family Law Association. She is proud to serve as the president of the Livonia Bar Association.
Laura graduated with a BA in Mathematics from Wayne State University and was inducted into the David McKenzie Honor Society. She graduated Cum Laude from Florida Coastal School of Law where she earned a Family Law Certificate and was on the Dean's List all semesters. During law school, Laura interred at the Florida Supreme Court for Chief Justice Quince.
Laura is a certified Domestic Relations Mediator, helping families find ways to resolve their disputes. Her mediation skills also give her a behind the scenes advantage when advocating for her clients during their own case mediations.
Laura lives with her husband, two sons, and a mischievous hound dog. She serves on the board of a non-profit that seeks justice through literacy advancement and is a trained Orton Gillingham reading specialist and tutor. She enjoys native landscape gardening and planning her family's next travel adventure.
